A young couple moved into a new neighborhood. The next morning while eating breakfast, they saw through the window that their female neighbor was hanging her laundry on the clothesline.
With a puzzled look, the young woman said:
"Look! She didn't wash the clothes well. Maybe she doesn't know how to do laundry or uses the wrong detergent!"
Her husband said nothing.
Every time the neighbor hung her laundry out, the young woman repeated the exact same comments.
One month later, one day the clothes looked remarkably clean. Surprised, the woman said to her husband:
"Look! She finally learned how to wash clothes properly!"
Her husband replied:
"Nope, honey, I woke up early this morning and cleaned our own windows!"
Moral:
Our lives are just like that. What we see in others depends on the purity of our own minds and the clarity of our perspective. Before judging others, it's better to clean the windows of our own minds.
